TVMA - June 10, 2008

Venue: Universal Studios
Location: Orlando, FL

Co-Main Event: Handicap Tag Team Match
Project X [Riel, Acorn & Spears]
Vs.
Spectre & Chris Ross

Promo: Hold the phone people because here comes Spectre barreling down the ring to help Ross!

E.D: Over the top ropes and...

Crowd: [OH!]

Promo: Nasty clothesline connects and Spectre topples into the ring! Riel's soldiers circle the wagons ‘round the one man army they throw alternate right hands to Spectre’s jaw, pummeling him without pardon before each taking a hold of one of his arms, throwing it around their heads, they lift him up into the air and drop him on the back of his head with a double back suplex going for a gang pile cover that the referee is having none of, admonishing the opportunistic duo to make it a one on one match, Spears exits the ring to the apron.]

Promo: It’s about damn time the referee has gotten some semblance of control in this match, but it might be a little too late for the team of Spectre and Ross.

[Randy Acorn hits the ropes to the side of Spectre gaining momentum as he catapults himself into the air and comes crashing down across the windpipe of the champion with a leg drop, followed by a quick cover.]

Referee: 1…2…

Crowd: [OOO!]

[Spectre kicks out with authority, throwing Randy up into the air, sending him crashing down to the mat, face first.]

Referee: [TWO!]

Promo: Acorn looks surprised.

[A humbled Acorn pops back up, beating Spectre to his feet he delivers a boot to the gut of a kneeling Spectre, locks his head, then drops him with a hard and stiff, quick snap DDT into the logo. Randy makes the quick tag out to Spears, the two men quickly delivering sandwich basement dropkicks that rock the skull of Spectre and rattle his brains. Spears makes the cover.]

Referee: 1…2…

E.D: There goes Spears!

[Spectre launches Spears a little bit higher and a little bit farther with yet another authoritative kick out.]

Referee: [TWO!]

Promo: Spears landed on his feet!

E.D: Did you see the air he caught?

[Spears is quickly back on the offensive, despite the shock and awe etched across his face he bounds off the ropes and goes head over heels with a neck snap to a sitting up Spectre that gives the purple haired one a slight case of whiplash.]

Promo: I’m unclear on the motivations of Project X here tonight; they seem to be fast and furious in trying to gain a pin fall despite the fact their mission is clearly to injure him according to their words.

E.D: Never doubt the wisdom of Lee Riel, he has a plan I am sure of it.

[Spears frantically tags out to Acorn and the two men combine for yet another double team, hooking a double front face lock, they loop the arms of the champ overhead and tug up on the tights but barely pull the massive man from the mat before dropping him back down with wounded backs. Spectre quickly makes a desperation counter somehow pulling both men up into the air and delivering a double suplex of his own leaving all three men prone on the mat.]

Crowd: [POP!]

Promo: Ross really needs to help here but he's knocked out cold!

E.D: Spectre is an island unto himself, he’s clearly been beaten down throughout this match, and without a man to tag to he is looking at a whole lot more hurt in his future.

Promo: The Project X pair aren’t looking too healthy at the moment either.

E.D: They still have the numbers on their side and a very fresh Lee Riel available to them, whether or not he gets involved remains to be seen however.

[Spectre instinctively crawls towards his vacant corner looking for a tag he inches his way all the way over to the turnbuckle, pulling himself up by the ropes and slumping himself over the top turnbuckle with a look of exasperation on his face. Spectre spins around, leaning back into the corner he calls on the hounds.]

Promo: He just signaled for them to bring it on.

E.D: Idiot.

[Spears obliges running in with great ambition he runs face first into the bottom of Spectre’s boot, taking a foot to the face that sends him stumbling out of the corner holding his face. Acorn, looking angered, follows his partner’s example, literally retracing the run step by step up until where he leaps in for added impact only to be caught and dropped with a standing Urunage slam that drops him on the back of his head.]

Crowd: [DAMN!]

Promo: DAMN!

[Stepping out of the corner the champ grabs a death grip around the throat of the stumbling Spears, looking for a choke slam, Lee Riel pops up onto the apron, staring right into the soul of Spectre, sneering and wielding his cane he looks a hole through the champ who quickly discards Spears tossing him to the side as he charges towards Lee grabbing a double fisted chokehold on the Project X leader.]

Crowd: [YEAH!]

Promo: Spectre has finally gotten his hands on Lee.

E.D: Here we go!

[As Spectre lifts Riel up into the air, he quickly regrets pulling his attention away from the other to men as they return to the fray with flying forearms to the back of his head and neck.]

Promo: Spectre is simply out numbered.

Crowd: [BOO!]

E.D: Sounds like my vacation in Vegas with the Pigeon Sisters.

[As Spectre’s grip on Riel slips, Lee fixes his jacket and drops down to the floor seemingly unaffected by the attack of his nemesis. Spears and Acorn spin Spectre around and deliver a double Irish whip that sends the three hundred pound mad men barreling across the ring and with a rebound and momentum charging right through an attempted double clothesline, red rover style, he stops on a dime and pivots catching the turning duo in a double death grip.]

Promo: Double choke slam locked and loaded!

[Acorn and Spears meet Spectre with duel boots to the gut, followed by double back spin kicks to the chest that straighten him up and then a double step up Enziguri that drops him to the mat.]

Crowd: [BOO!]

[Unsure just who the hell the legal man is the referee forces Randy Acorn from the ring as Tim Spears springs off the middle rope on the inside of the ring, spinning a 180 he lands a leg drop to the back of the neck on Spectre. Quickly transitioning Spears sits on the back of the champion and locks his hands beneath his chin pulling back with all that he has in a modified camel clutch.]

Promo: The young Mr. Spears is looking to weaken the neck of The Spectre and possibly even gain a submission victory over the champion as unlikely as that may seem. I’m just not sure if he has enough leverage and/or power to pull off as much damage as he’d like given how little bodyweight he is carrying compared to the BACW champion.

E.D: I think that’s a sacrifice he’s willing to make to not be a useless tub of lard like our champion. Speaking of which, it disgusts me to know the company I work for is represented by such a vision of unhealthiness and instability. Project X is completely right about the role models we display.

[Spectre pushes his chest up off the mat, alleviating some of the pressure created by the hold he begins to crawl towards the ropes looking for the break.]

Promo: What the hell? Get him down from there!

[Lee Riel once again pulls himself up onto the apron, distracting the referee, Acorn slips in behind his back, and delivering a stiff boot to the side of Spectre’s head, he breaks his momentum. Quickly grabbing a grip on the legs of Spectre as Spears let’s go of his chin lock, Randy arches back with a picture perfect Boston Crab as Spears exits the ring and Riel drops down from the apron.]

Promo: The numbers are just too much for Spectre to survive here. Lee Riel has proved to be little more then a distraction but he can’t be removed from the match like a normal manager could be, because officially, he’s a participant in this match up.

E.D: Looks like Batee screwed Spectre, doesn’t it?

Promo: Ross did anyways.

E.D: To be fair to Ross, they did beat him down pretty bad.

[Spectre, shaking the cobwebs loose, once again focuses on the rope break as he crawls, army style towards them with the fans willing him on.]

Fans: Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap]

[Spectre gets his fingertips within millimeters of the ropes when from out of nowhere Tim Spears springboards into the ring with a rolling Senton across his back. The referee, having enough of the shenanigans of the duo calls for the break of the hold as Spears exits the ring with a smirk across his face.]

Promo: They don’t even care that the referee is breaking up the submission attempt.

E.D: They caused the freak boy pain and in the end I think that that is what their main purpose is.

Promo: But they seemingly go for the win at every opportunity.

E.D: Facer the facts Paul, win, lose, or draw, the beating won’t stop until someone stops it. Spectre will be hurt here tonight and not by that pussy, Chris Ross.

[Randy Acorn steps up the back of Spectre, stepping onto the middle rope he propels himself into the air, and then crashes down with a bonsai drop style splash to the lower back of his opponent. And Acorn makes the tag to Spears, who for those keeping score is technically, officially, still the legal man.]

Referee: TAG!

Promo: A legal tag.

Crowd: [BOO!]

Promo: Yeah these guys are role models, look at the hot topic make-up and the flagrant cheating; everyone should look up to these delinquent ass clowns.

[Spears slowly climbs into the ring, slapping Spectre across the back of the head, taunting him to get up and as he pushes himself up from the mat he quickly drops him back down with an elbow drop to the spine. Suddenly the fans erupt.]

Crowd: [YEAH!]

ED: What the hell is he doing here? He isn't part of this match!

[Storming from the back with a fire in his belly and a pissed off look across his face comes Triple Six Trek. Riel’s calm demeanor changes to a sneer as he stares up the ramp at the charging savior. Trek gets up to the apron with quickness and extends his arm out for the tag.]

Crowd: Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek!

Promo: Looks like Trek is here to repay Spectre’s for his assistance at Grinder.

E.D: If he gets involved in this match it’s gotta be a DQ, that’s outside interference damn it.

Promo: Are you on the Project X payroll?

E.D: I don’t think they have a payroll, I think its volunteer work like those AIDS charities.

Promo: I can't believe you just said that.

Crowd: Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek! Trek!

[Meanwhile Spectre remains trapped in his opponent’s corner as Spears continues the assault on his back with a succession of elbow and knee drops before tagging out to Randy Acorn who scales the top rope and comes off with lightning quick speed, down across the back of Spectre with a splash.]

Fans: Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek!

E.D: These people actually think they’re chants and claps give people energy or super powers? This isn’t the eighties and Spectre doesn’t wear red and yellow you dip shits so give it a rest.

Promo: Freedom of expression buddy, don’t hate - celebrate!

E.D: Yeah cuz the constitution still matters, where have you been the past 8 years?

[Acorn follows the splash up by jamming both of his knees into the back of a downed Spectre, folding his legs over themselves and grabbing on tightly with one hand and reaching beneath his chin with the other Acorn rocks back with a bow and arrow submission that is quite impressive given the massive amount of weight he’s lifting.]

Promo: I can’t believe he got him up into the air.

Crowd: [WOOOOOAAAAAAA...]

[Acorn, grimacing beneath the pressure, tries desperately to force the end of the match via a submission as he violently yanks and pulls on the head and legs of Spectre, bending him in half.]

Promo: Acorn’s legs are growing shaky; I don’t think he can hold Spectre up anymore.

[Realizing his plight, Acorn quickly reaches back for the tag to Spears in their nearby corner, Spears pulls himself up to the top rope and springs off with a vicious senton that drives Spectre’s spine down across the knees of Randy Acorn.]

[THUD!]

Crowd: [OH!]

E.D: Trek may be in Spectre’s corner now, but I think it’s too late to matter; Randy and Tim have got this match well in hand at the moment.

[Spears wastes no time in gaining control of Spectre once again as he grabs hold of the near leg and the underside of Spectre’s chin for leverage and begins to pummel the ribcage of the champ with driving knees to the side of his prone opponent. Acorn tags himself in with a slap on the back of his partner he propels himself over the ropes with a slingshot rolling Senton as he goes up and over his partner and across the chest of Spectre. Acorn makes the cover.]

Referee: 1…2…

[Kick out.]

Referee: [TWO!]

Crowd: [YEAH!]

E.D: Spectre’s kick outs have lost a considerable amount of steam over the course of this match and it just goes to show the dominance and persistence of Project X.

[Acorn tags out to Spears, dragging Spectre into position as Tim scales the ropes. As Randy slips out of the ring Tim launches himself off with his finisher, the Solo Splash, he crashes down across the raised knees of Spectre bouncing off the impact, ironically now holding his own ribs. Spectre pulls himself up from the mat, clutching his ribs as Acorn barrels back into the ring.]

E.D: Get him Randy!

[Acorn delivers a double axe handle between the shoulders of Spectre then taking hold of his shoulders he jumps into the air looking for a back cracker, Spectre takes hold of the ropes and Randy crashes and burns falling hard on the back of his head.]

E.D: If he tags in Trek and that no good, cowardly, quitter lays one hand on either Randy or Tim, this referee better call for the bell and the DQ or so help me, I’ll quit on the spot.

Crowd: [Stomping & clapping]

[Spectre slowly but surely makes his way over towards his corner, impeded for a moment by the recovered Tim Spears who delivers a back leg front kicks to his ribs that doubles him over for a moment. Spears throws a second kick this time Spectre shuts out the pain, catching the foot, he quickly loads up and delivers a head and arm suplex that dumps Spears on the back of his head and then makes the much needed tag.]

Crowd: [POP!]

E.D: He better not touch them!

[Acorn charges in and gets dropped in place with a right hand for his trouble, Spears catches a right hand of his own as Triple Six Trek has entered the fray in the biggest of ways.]

Promo: So are you gonna quit?

E.D: Goddamn it ref, he’s not in this match!

Fans: Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek!

[Trek trades of clotheslines between the two men dropping them both to the canvas he then charges against the ropes and rebounds off, nailing them both with a double clothesline.]

Crowd: TREK! TREK! TREK!

[Sidewalk slam is delivered to Spears and immediately hooking the leg for the pin attempt, Trek looks for the win.]

Referee: 1…2…

Fans: Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek!

[Acorn breaks up the pin with a sprawling attack of some kind. Randy follows with a series of punches to the midsection of Trek as he gets to his feet. Acorn wheels around with an Irish whip sending T6T across the ring and off the far side ropes. Trek comes back hard and as Acorn attempts a Hurricanrana he gets caught and dropped with a big-time sit-out power bomb.]

Promo: Trek is on fire!

Fans: Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek!

E.D: Trek is cheating is what he’s doing. This is all illegal; it’s outside interference damn it!

[Trek rolls back out of the power bomb, ducking a haymaker from Spears he quickly hooks him up, lifting him into belly to back position he drops him down across his knee with an atomic drop that sends Tim bouncing right over into the right hand of the recovering Spectre and back out into another one from Trek and another from Spectre as he quickly becomes a human ping pong ball being batted back and forth between big right hands.]

E.D: This isn’t right damn it.

[Trek scoops Spears up and plants him into the mat with a slam before bounding off the ropes and delivering a jumping elbow too the chest. Trek makes the cover.]

Referee: 1…2…

Promo: Spears kicks out.

Referee: [TWO!]

Crowd: [OH!]

[Trek maintains control of Spears, locking in an arm ringer he drags him over to his corner and tags The Spectre into the ring. Spectre enters the ring grabbing hold of the other arm the two men dole out a double arm ringer, following up they reverse the arm ringer ducking out and through they deliver double knife-edge chops to the chest and then a double snap mare and double football kick to the back.]

Fans: Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek!

Promo: Team work from the duo of Spectre and Trek.

E.D: They’re not a duo or a team or an anything, Spectre is a competitor in this match and Trek is a washed up punk who is interfering in this match. This match should already be over.

Fans: Let’s Go Spectre! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek! [Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap] Let’s Go Trek!

[Spectre pulls Spears up from the mat and back up onto his feet, finally in control of this match and relishing in it. Spectre grabs hold of the wrist of Spears and with a violent jerk yanks him into a thumping short arm clothesline, maintaining his grip on the arm Spectre pulls Spears up to his feet and sends him back down with a second short arm clothesline before tagging Trek back into the ring.]

Referee: [TAG!]

Promo: Tim Spears in trouble already.

E.D: What do you expect to happen, he’s wrestled a full match and this goon just lumbers down to the ring, fresh as a daisy and starts throwing punches. He’s fresh and Tim is tired, it’s not an even playing field anymore.

Promo: Oh and a three on one was?

ED: Three on one? Lee hasn’t laid a finger on Spectre.

[Trek and Spectre unload a quick double suplex on Spears. Trek tags Spectre back in immediately and they deliver a second double team in rapid succession this time whipping Spears to the ropes and catching him with a double flapjack.]

E.D: I can’t believe this match is still going on. I am beside myself with how ridiculous this is.

[Spectre confidently jams the head of Spears between his thighs, jacking him up into the air he charges across the ring tossing him off into his own corner with a turnbuckle power bomb. Acorn quickly tags in and enters the match up with a springboard dropkick that rocks Spectre back onto his heels. Acorn hits the ropes and comes off hard with a spinning wheel kick but is caught and slammed down hard for his troubles.]

Promo: That has to hurt.

[Spectre stares right at Lee, pointing his finger at him as the crowd erupts.]

Spectre: YOU!

Crowd: [POP!]

[Lee’s eyebrows furrow up but he remains steadfast and still on the outside of the ring. Spectre pulls Acorn up from the mat and whips him to the ropes in front of Riel delivering a big boot to the much as he comes back off.]

Spectre: That was for you!

Crowd: Lee sucks! Lee sucks! Lee sucks!

[Lee looks out over the crowd, unimpressed with their choice of vernacular he symbolically brushes off each of his shoulders and then shrugs them as if shrugging it all off. Spectre, with a smile strewn across his face pulls Acorn up from the mat and with a hand around his throat, he hoists him up into the air and throws him spine first into his turnbuckle with a turnbuckle choke slam.]

Promo: Acorn is in his own corner but neither he nor Spears is in very good shape at the moment and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were both completely unaware of their positioning at the moment.

[Spectre looks at Lee once more, shouting at him.]

Spectre: YOU!

Crowd: [POP!]

[Spectre grabs a hold of Acorn’s hand holding it out towards Riel who remains motionless, refusing to look at Spectre. The champion instead uses Acorn’s hand to tag Spears back into the ring. Spec drags Spears in through the ropes by his hair and tosses him down to the mat. The purple haired freak then proceeds to straddle Acorn on the top rope and drop him down into a tree of woe, not yet done Spears is quick to join Acorn in the same corner, in the same tree of woe courtesy of Spectre who once again calls out to Riel.]

Spectre: Save them Lee, save them before I hurt them!

Crowd: Fuck them up Spectre, fuck them up! [Clap, clap] Fuck them up Spectre, fuck them up! [Clap, clap]

Promo: What does Spectre have planned for these two now?

[As Spectre shrugs his shoulders and makes his way over to his own corner Lee hops up on the apron, unhooking the legs of both Spears and Acorn freeing them from the Tree of Woe. Spectre rushes across the ring looking to get his hands on the leader of Project X, he comes up empty as Riel drops back down to the floor. Spectre reaches through the ropes, grabbing two handfuls of hair he is caught with a shot from the silver dragon’s head atop Lee’s cane, sending him reeling and clutching his throat, gasping for air as the referee calls for the bell.]

[Ding! Ding! Ding!]

Promo: Spectre just dropped to his knees; I don’t think he can breathe.

[Lee pulls a pair of handcuffs out of his tights, entering the ring with them wrapped around his hand like knucks. Trek goes to enter the ring but is quickly thwarted by Lee’s masked militia as the six men in ski masks yank Trek down off the apron and begin brawling with him.]

E.D: Well it’s about time someone got that interfering piece of trash out of here and that’s just what Project X has done.

[Trek and the masked men brawl to the back, T6T more than holding his own against the numbers.]

Promo: What is Lee doing?

[Lee delivers a shot to the back of Spectre’s skull dropping him to the mat face first. Lee then kneels on the back of Spectre pulling his hands behind him.]

E.D: Lee’s handcuffing him, he’s putting the bracelets on that criminal madman.

[Lee cuffs the hands of Spectre behind his back.]

Crowd: [BOO!]

[Lee helps both Spears and Acorn up to their feet whispering in the ears of both men, Tim and Randy exit the ring and go beneath the ring as Lee pulls Spectre’s head up from the mat, looking him in his eyes.]

Riel: Who’s the bitch now?!

[Spectre spits in the face of Riel who answers back with a hard right hand that drops Spectre. As the fans boo, Lee wipes the spit from his face, once again with a sick smirk as if he relishes in the abuse of his foes and the fans.]

[Ding! Ding! Ding!]

Promo: What the hell do they have?

E.D: Duct tape? A plastic bag? They are making their own snuff video!

Promo: Where the hell is security!

[Lee pulls Spectre’s head back up from the mat, taking the plastic bag from Acorn he puts it over the head of Spectre.]

Promo: He can’t do this! He’ll kill him!

[Referees and security hit the ring with a fury, unfortunately they run into right hands from Spears and Acorn as one by one they all go down as Lee takes the duct tape and begins to wrap it around the neck of Spectre, sealing off the plastic bag all the while having a sick and sadistic smile across his face.]

Promo: It won’t take long for him to run out of air. This is MURDER!

[Spectre frantically makes his way to his feet, in a chicken with his head chopped off moment he runs, directionless, crashing into several sides of ring ropes as the faces of Project X are adorned with menacing grins, looking without remorse at a man running out of air. Bailing and looking back into the ring, Riel and his group raise their arms in victory.]

Promo: Somebody stop this now!

[EMT’s rush to the ring as Spectre collapses to the ground and onto his back, his chest moving quickly with quick and shallow breaths. Tearing the bag off, Spectre can do nothing but allow his eyes to roll into the back of his head.]

Crowd: [Ass-hooooles! Ass-hooooles! Ass-hooooles!]

E.D: Are they talking about Spectre or Riel?

Promo: Riel you idiot!

E.D: Easy Francis.

[Bursting through the curtain, having fended off his foes, Trek returns to the ring in a hurry with a chair firmly in his grips. Diving in headfirst, Trek is like a bat out of hell swinging the chair wildly at the ropes in frustration.]

Promo: Spectre appears to be okay, but trying to suffocate a man to death is completely uncalled for. Mr. Batee had better do something about this!

[As Project X flee the scene through the hostile crowd who pelt them with beer and trash the EMT’s tend to the fallen Spectre. With heads down Lee and Co. make their way through the crowd and out of the arena as the attention of the crowd focuses on a hush as they look on at the graphic scene in the ring.]

Promo: Folks, I don't know what to say other than we will see you in a few.
